3 Make sound B♭

Under construction

Make a cushion on a bottom of mouthpiece with the glue.
(put the glue on around of the bottom of the mouthpiece)

dry the glue (softly) (about 1〜2 hours)

When it dries , Set the reed and ligature to the mouthpiece.
Press the mouthpiece firmly against the bamboo (the one with no knot of bamboo left).
If you blow it in that condition(keep holding it down), it makes a pretty good low sound.
If your breath leaks out between the bamboo and the mouthpiece, it will make a high-pitched sound, press to join the mouthpiece and bamboo firmly with your both hands .

Check the pitch with a tuner.
The pitch is still low sound , cut the bamboo short little by little to make the sound B♭.
At first, cut about 1cm at a time, and when you get to A♭, cut about 5mm at a time, hold the mouthpiece and blow, measure the sound with a tuner, cut again, and repeat until you get to B♭.

The finally, widen the hole in the knot of bamboo with a file (larger the hole, higher the sound)
